Bride with groom to pick out tux

We went together.

I think most people go together, I've never heard of a groom wanting to go alone lol. Does he want it to be a surprise like your dress?

We went together today. Maybe he wants it to be surprise.

I went with mine so he could pick out some crazy things and plus he didn't know what u wanted him in or His BM or GM.

I told my FH that him and the best man need to have a guys day where they go pick out their outfits I gave them mandatory colors and suggested styles but other than that it's all up to them. I told them to have a guys day and maybe go get a few drinks afterwards

We set up through Mens Warehouse online. We could customize all aspects of the tux and choose between all the different styles. All the guys have to do is go in and get measured. Was a good compromise for us.

Mine went with his groomsmen but sent me pics and I was going part of the decision

My FH is planning to get a custom suit with my 11-year-old son (the best man), and I know he wants it to be a guy bonding thing.

If he wants to go alone, what is your objection? Are you concerned about what he might pick?

Thanks for the input!! Yea I don't necessarily care too much what exactly cut and style he picks just more the tux colors. Yea I think the nerdball feels he wants to be a surprise too if I am lol

I told my FH he could go alone, with his GM, with his mom, or whatever he'd like. He asked me to go with him so I went. If he wants to go alone he probably just wants to surprise you. He didn't go with you dress shopping. Send him so pics of what you had in mind and I'm sure he'll stay in that ballpark

I'm not going with my FH. I didn't let him pick out my dress. I won't be picking out his tux.

Can I just say, I adore "nerdball" as a term of endearment. Totally stealing that.

I think it can also depend on what you want. We are going navy blue and I had to convince him it would look soo good on him. If it's just a black suit or tux I wouldn't sweat needing to be there.

FH went with his guys, and we went back together to buy it. I really didn't need to go at all, but I did have input on the pocket square and tie. That's about it.

FH made an afternoon out of it with his groomsmen. I said requested that they all match and be in a light-medium shade of gray. He had a lot of fun with his groomsmen!

When he realized he totally was not getting an orange tux like in dumb and dumber he could care less. Asked me to go w him since we aren't doing a bridal party. I picked what looked best on him since he's tall and lanky

I am not going with him. He didn't go with me to pick out my dress and tell me what color it needs to be. I asked what color he wants to wear instead of dictating what he needs to wear, because it's his wedding, too (that he's paying for). I also want to be surprised when I see him as I'm walking down the aisle, so I don't really want to see him trying it on.

We went together once, but he did end up going with his BM and picking the final. I still haven't seen it but I'm not too worried. He doesn't want to look bad on his day either!

I bought color swatches for him to take and I would love to go with him. He wants a guy day with his groomsmen which I get. We may just stop and browse one night because he really wants to show me what he wants lol
