Bridemaids

I know this has been a topic tons of times but how do I politely tell someone I m not too close with that I would no longer want them in my wedding. They haven’t purchased anything so far and they kind of took the initiative to invite themself to be in my wedding when I was in the midst of postponing my wedding and going through a hard time. I thought we would perhaps get close but in the end she is a friend just not someone who I would want in all my my photos. I don’t think she would get too offended and I would plan to tell her in person. Any advice on the best way to do it?

She invited herself into your wedding party, that's not cool. If you went along with it though and agreed for her to be in the wedding then there really is no polite way to take away that invitation. Keep in mind she may end the friendship if you decide you no longer want her in the wedding. Best of luck to you.

There's no polite way to kick someone out of your wedding party, particularly if they've done nothing wrong. It will likely hurt her a lot and possibly will reflect badly on you. This is often friendship-ending, so that's the risk you'll be taking.

There’s no polite way to do it. If you must, do it quickly and accept that it will affect your relationship.
