Brides and Grooms with children -how are you involving them?

My son is walking me down the aisle with my mom. He is 8 and we feel that he should feel like a big part of our day. We're also adding him to our program and announcing him at the reception. How is everyone else incorporating their very important little ones?

My almost 11 year old daughter is my mini-maid of honor. She will be walking with me down the isle. We will also do a ring exchange and FH will express vows to her. They will have a father/step-daughter dance as well. :-)

My boys will be 16 & 17 when we get married...my youngest wants to take pics as everyone arrives for our "Guest Scrapbook", and they are both walking me down the aisle and both will participate in the sand ceremony. We each have a daughter as well, but they are both in their 20's, and not at home with families of their own, they are guests.

Before we decided to elope my son was going to walk me down the aisle and my FH was also going to write vows to read to him during the ceremony. Now, we are planning to elope in the Caribbean somewhere and my son will not be making the trip with us but we plan on making it a point to do a special intimate ceremony or something where FH can still share vows or something else special with him either before or when we return.

Our son will be 2.5 so he'll be our RB. I can't wait to see him all dressed up. I did find a couple pics too that I want to have done with the 3 of us.

My 6 yr old son is the ring bearer. My 9 yr old daughter is either a flower girl or jr bm. My 15 yr old....who knows. I will either have him be an attendant or walk me down the aisle. FH 3 teens...we'll be happy if they come. I planned to have them be attendants, too, but we'll see what they want closer to the time.

My 2 daughter's (23 yrs & 20yrs) are my Bridesmaids & my 3 son's (25 yr old twins & 22 yrs) will be groomsmen. If my dad can't make it due to being ill, then my youngest son (22 yrs.) will escort me down the aisle. My twin granddaughters (4 yrs.) will be flower girls & my oldest grandson will be the ringbearer (2yrs). Originally, I planned to have no kids at the ceremony but I've had a change of heart b/c most of them live in other states & we rarely see them other than OoVoo & or Skype, lol! It will still be an adult only reception though...

    This is beautiful guys.

My stepdaughter will be the flowergirl. She's 3. I thought about giving her a necklance / ring and reading a speech, but I haven't talked to FH yet.

My two adult children were our attendants. We asked my son to be best man, but he said that a best man is a groom's attendant, and we had failed to provide a groom. So after some negotiation, he became "dude of honor." My daughter was maid of honor.

I have 2 boys 9 and 7 they will be RB and we have a daughter who will be 2 and she will be FG. We are also including them in a sand ceremony. We also did family pics as our e pics and the we used those pictures in our signing book. It is not just FH and I getting married but it is the 5 of us becoming a family!

My oldest will be 3 and we are hoping he will be calm enough to be our ring bearer - we'll see though lol. My youngest won't even be a year old so he will just hang out with grandma and grandpa. I am almost thinking about doing a ceremony uniting us a family, with a 3 & 1 year old it might be impossible lol
