Hey ladies! I’m getting married May 9th, 2020, and I’m just curious is anyone else still moving forward with their big day? I am going with the flow and still hoping for the best that our day doesn’t get postponed! I see a lot of brides out their postponing so it makes me question if I should be or if I’m crazy for not postponing?? Also, I’m from MN and so far we aren’t in lockdown. That would be the ONLY way I would postpone is if there was a lockdown during our big day! Otherwise we are rolling with the punches and going with the flow. What about everyone else??

Hi fellow Ohio bride! I know you were talking to another bride to be, but I am in Southwest Ohio. We have our wedding scheduled for June 13, and we have not postponed yet. Our venue let us put September 26th on hold, so we were lucky to find another Saturday as a backup plan. We are going to have a very small backyard ceremony on June 13 even if we can't have our big wedding and reception, and then do a renew our vows and do a reception in September with all of our friends and family. Hoping for the best for us both!

Our wedding date is May 31 and we were a little iffy on postponing. We talked with our venue and they said that nothing has changed for us, yet. With everything happening we have decided to reschedule before they tell us we have to.

That's a great idea. When is your wedding? I already sent my invites out for my wedding in June, but I'm sure I can post on social media to look at my website for up to date information.

I'm in NJ as well. My venue as of now thinks we will be fine. So I'm trying to stay hopeful too. This is just so crazy!

Hey girl I’m so sorry you had to move your date I’m am to be married June 13,and after a lot of talking with family and my FH and my amazing venue I finally feel light hearted about my decision so I Thought I would share with you and maybe this could help you as well so I have plan ABC plan a is to go on as normal I have 92 guests and hopefully this virus isn’t anywhere around that Plan B if the virus may be over but it’s still kind of sketch and people aren’t sure yet I’m gonna have just 50 people that will still be the same ceremony and the reception will take place at the ceremony site instead of a different site and we will Facebook live to the rest of my guest who could not come in still do a small reception and then a huge kick ass reception back home after all this is said and done and then option C which was hard but I’m OK with it now is I still get married on my date with Just our parents same venue in my wedding dress Facebook live it and still kick ass wedding reception when all this is over I find this helped my stress because in the end of the day I still get my dream wedding to my best friend at my dream place In my dream dress with my dad giving me away everything else doesn’t matter! And I no longer have to stress about this damn virus! And there will still be cake!

Im getting married on June 20 and we will be getting married on this day even if family cannot attend. If worse comes to worse we will postpone our reception for another date, but really hoping everything will be okay by then.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to throw my input in for anyone who cares, because it’s about all I can think about. We are having an outdoor wedding/reception June 6th here in Ohio. Thankfully, we are doing about as good we can in Ohio. My counties specifically are doing fantastic lol. We are taking this serious & our venue is taking some precautions so we can go through as planned. They are doing a great job of updating us. As long as we’ve peaked in May, we WILL be having a beautiful day as planned. We have about 250 guests invited & we understand if people decide not to come, but we’ve been engaged for 3 years. We’re making the most of the situation. Everything leading up to it: bachelorette party, bridal shower, etc. will take place later. We are focused now on staying healthy & planning with what we have. I understand this may not sit well with some people, but I hope I can offer some insight into the other side. ❤️

Our wedding is May 16, we are just altering our plans slightly in case the venue closes. We have contingency plans for pretty much everything 🥴

Our date is July 11, 2020 in Las Vegas and is a destination wedding. We reside in California but have some family and friends in LV so we are getting updates from them before they are announced on the news. Here in California, the governor is stating he will be extending the stay-at-home order through May 30th. I have been communicating with our planner at Vegas Weddings on a biweekly basis. I'm beginning to get nervous because some governors are extending their orders until June 10, 2020. I will be checking in with the wedding planner soon to see what they are suggesting since the extensions.

Hi Mia- Our wedding is scheduled for June 13, my dress shop is closed and so is our courthouse. The courthouse may re-open May 1, so we will see. I am heartbroken and really don't want to reschedule. I just sent an email to the bridal shop to get their thoughts on fittings IF they re-open in May. We have been engaged for 1 1/2 years now and I am 63 y/o and my first wedding.

This all weighs heavy on my mind and heart. If we can get the license and my dress/suits we may have something small at our house and the reschedule the reception later. I wish I had a crystal ball. Invitations are going out end of this week and I started a FB events page so I can keep everyone posted.
