Guessing my other states it will be probably about 50% capacity or so...that's what I'm crossing my fingers for at least

Yes me too! And can we even have it indoors? I’m only having about 100 people and my venue holds 650 so plenty of room to “social distance”. Also any word on dancing or masks? I can’t imagine no dancing aft our wedding. I would have to call it if that’s the case.

I hope so! Also let’s hope we’re able to have a dance floor, I saw that wasn’t until phase 4 or something and he’s already started pushing the phases back. Very frustrating

I know! His descriptions are very unclear. He’s putting dance floors and ball rooms in with stadiums? Very far off from each other lol. I was thinking of doing the same because it’s getting a little ridiculous around here. I know it’s serious but I just think people should make their own decisions when it comes to weddings. No hard feelings if they don’t feel comfortable attending.

I went to an outdoor vinyard with an ex coworker in NH fri night. She is an ICU nurse in Worcester on a designated covid unit ... they opened the 2nd ICU back up for its normal patients (surgical) they currently have 2 covid. What they have now are all the people who got sick avoiding the hospital and not getting treatment when they should. I will keep my personal opinions to myself about continued lockdown policies but I agree we should be allowed a little more freedom

I was reviewing the mass.gov web page as we are still planning to do something small with about 25 people in August and I realized that the website states weddings in “parks, reservations, and open spaces” are allowed in phase 3.

This shocked me as that clearly does not include indoor events. So now if it rains, we would all be restricted by the normal gathering size. Which as of right now is 10 people still... UGH

Exactly!! If it rains that day what does he expect us to do? Call it off the day before, it isn’t fair

Some guidelines just came out today. Looks like no dancing and only 25ppl indoors right now. Only 6 ppl at a table. I don’t want ppl to have to wear masks but not sure what the venue till mandate. Fingers crossed some of this changes for my Aug 29th wedding on the Cape. I already cancelled my May 2nd wedding. Anyone come up with any creative social distancing ideas?

Yes i saw that, i have already postponed once as well. My venue said no dance floors are allowed per his order so I may have to end up postponing till next year if this doesn't change. We have already paid for a dj and I just wouldn't enjoy no dacing at my wedding.
