Ok so I don't have much friends or family .my sister will be my maid of honor and I really don't have any options for brides maids that are close. I was told that I should not just pick just any body. I have a friend from school but we haven't talked for years. But after some said don't she didn't invite me to hers. So that's the story . Now question the FH has all his groomsmen should ask him to ask the girl friends or wives Even tho I don't know them . I know it sounds messy. But help please.

Like you said, don't just ask anybody to be your bridesmaid just to make the sides even. if you only have one person in your party, then that's ok too. if you're worried it will look weird because it's uneven then they don't even need to stand up there. they can just walk and then take a seat at the start of the ceremony.

I'd say to just stick with the one attendant. There is no requirement for how many you have, or the relationship between your number and your FI's. And there are advantages to having just one. You can find a color and style of dress that looks good on her, instead of trying to match a bunch of people of different sizes, shapes, and tastes.

If you are concerned about how it will look the yes ask the groomsmen to have their wives/gfs but with that being said it’s up to you if you want people in your wedding you don’t know. Who knows maybe you’ll spark an new friendship with a wife or gf of a groomsmen
