Future Husband proposed to me Christmas morning of 2018 with my family. Complete surprise! We've been high school sweet hearts for 8 years and have lived together for 5 years, but being proposed to was still very surprising and exciting for me. He spent almost the entire year of 2018 actually building the ring himself. It's a rose gold band with a white gold 6 prong setting and a violet sapphire since sapphire is my birthstone and violet/purple is my favorite color. I loved the fact that he hand created the ring himself so much that we're actually going to hand craft our wedding bands together.
