February 22, 2020! Our love story started in the Spring of 1977 when he had his first crush (me!). I had no idea. We graduated from high school together in June 1979. We lost touch, lived our lives, married other people, and had children. Fast forward to February 2019. He is getting divorced and posted his sadness on Facebook. I reached out to him as a sympathetic ear. We reconnected and fell in love. He admitted his years long love for me and we built a relationship. July 27th at our 40th High School Reunion, he got down on one knee in front of everyone and proposed! It is amazing to finally find the man I am supposed to spend the rest of my life with. We call it "A romance 42 years in the making"
