Tony and I took a trip to India and the Maldives last summer (2019). We were on the 2nd part of our trip in the Maldives when he proposed to me at our island hut under the stars. I had changed out of the dress I wore to dinner and was in my joggers and t-shirt when he asked me. It was just us and it was perfect. I think I said "oh my god is this really happening?" about 5 times. Best trip of my life.

View Quoted Comment Thank you. He did a great job. We have had annual passes for 2 hrs and had most of our vacations down there. So yes we are together. We will have subtle Disney incorporated into the wedding like an up guest book sign and little things that aren’t in your face.

He knew my "wish" list. We found an amazing Estate Jeweler. That was all I was allowed to know. I work very LONG hours @ the Exec level in tech thus I ONLY order online & ALL boxes are for ME. If it isn't delivered, it isn't happening, LOL. The FedEx driver is family. SOOOO... I accidentally opened my own ring & had my "moment" w/ the FedEx driver. We laugh about it now. Brad "officially" proposed exactly 4 years + 1 day (9.17.19) after our 1st date, as I was too tired on our 4yr anniversary (a Monday) to be "agreeable" to go anywhere. Enough said.

View Quoted Comment Sinéad, it was and wasn’t. We knew we wanted to get married and had looked at rings. I didn’t expect it during the moment he did it. We were watching the first 49ers game of the season and I had been having a rough week at work, so I was napping during the game. He attached the ring to my corgi’s, Bentley, collar and brought him into the couch. I woke up to my sweet dog, now fiancé, and the beautiful ring. We then went to the beach, took some pictures, and told our family. It was unexpected, simple, and totally captures us as a couple.
