Brides of 2021! Show us your ring!

Good morning beautiful ladies!
We got engaged December 25, 2018! It was the most wonderful christmas gift I could have ever asked for! We were never the type for cliches but it was all about the timing, it was perfect! To cover up the surprise he told me that my gift was still in the mail and that it would come in a few days. No biggie, I didnt mind so we continued with christmas as usual. It was a very special christmas that year because his family was coming over my family's home for the first time so I was very excited for everyone to mingle. While I was relaxing with my sisters watching tv he got my niece to come to me and hand me an envelope and said is was from my fiance. It was a poem, he wrote me poems for all of our major anniversaries so I was surprised to receive one since it wasn't close to our anniversary. It was beautiful and when I finished he came from behind me, got on one knee in front of everyone and pulled out this beautiful ring. I could barely say yes through all the tears of joy but to this day it is the best memory I have so far. ❤❤❤ We have been together for 7 years now and will have been engaged for 1 year this christmas. Our wedding date is April 9, 2021 which, 7 years ago, was the first time we said "i love you".

He proposed Nov 4th on Fort Myers Beach 💜 && of course I said YES!!!

How did the proposal happen?

View Quoted Comment Thank you so much! Luckily I already had my normal 2 week nail appointment already scheduled for the next day. As for the proposal, we went to Central Park to walk around and see some fall foliage and after sitting on a bench in front of Bow Bridge just talking about how beautiful the view is, we asked a stranger to take our picture - which when giving the man his phone to take the picture, he told him his plan of proposing and luckily the stranger took AMAZING pictures of the whole thing- leading up to, during and after. I was completely shocked!
