It was so romantic I thought I was getting a promise. Then boom he was down on one knee asking me to marry him. Our daughter was able to see it all. December 14, 2019 is the day he proposed and June 19, 2021 is the day I say “I Do!!!”

He ask if I would have lunch with him, and of course I went. We went to my favorite Mexican restaurant, and the food was great! After we finished our food we then begin driving around town nothing seemed abnormal at the time. We eventually came up on a spot that had a picnic table, behind it was a very large rock that said I love you on it. If you looked the other way you could see miles of trees and hills and it was so beautiful. I turn back around and he was on one knee and asked me in a very nervous tone “Will You Marry Me”! I began crying, but of course I said yes! I love this man with everything oz of my heart.

i was working a halloween themed event on October 6th when he got me to go up in front of a huge crowd to join the show then he surprised me and of course i said yes

I take a trip from NY to see my mother and siblings who moved to Florida every year. My sister works for Disney and I plan my visit around the time of my other sisters birthday (I have 5 siblings) so we go for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party every October. Everyone was going to the Halloween party. My brother, his wife and my new nephew who came in from Massachusetts, my best friend and her boyfriend, my youngest sister was there for her first time. My family and I are VERY close and there are many of us. So we decided to dress up in costumes. Yes, I am a rose gold Minnie Mouse😅🤓🤦My now fiance and I have been together for almost 13 years but I usually take the trip by myself or with a few friends and stay for about a week. This trip I had flown down with my youngest sister for her first time and met up with my best friend who had flown down with her boyfriend the weekend before for a wedding in his family. My fiance has only made the trip down once before and after he proposed, while we were alone hanging out in the hotel room, told me it was that trip that showed him how he was going to do it. It was either in front of the castle in Magic Kingdom, or a Buffalo Bills game😂 I love either scenario so much but Disney was truly magical. He didn't come down with me and instead drove down with two more of our best friends after I had already landed in Florida. He took the drive down in honor of his parents taking the drive for their honeymoon. His father passed away 2 years ago so his drive meant that much more. After he arrived he coordinated with my mom, siblings, and all of our friends who had joined us (only our friends knew, my family had no idea this was coming until the day before lol and apparently for good reason haha!🤣) and pulled it off (I guess there were MANY hiccups along the way, too many times I should have found out!) in a way I will never forget. I will cherish telling this story for all of our days! ❤️

Got engaged at the Cayman Islands

We got engaged August 30th, when he surprised me on the beach. He gave me a temporary ring until he could take me back to Chicago, IL to design my real ring!!!!!! We used a rare family diamond in the center from 1998 and set the entire ring in rose gold and small diamonds. To say I’m in love is an understatement. I’m head over heels and I adore this ring. But not nearly enough as I adore my best friend. He’s my everything and I can’t wait for April 25th, 2020! #MySchwanAndOnly

Matt planned a trip for us to Niagara Falls for the weekend. I knew when he was so adamant on going and staying in the best hotel, something was up. Saying “yes” was the happiest moment of my life, I can’t wait to top that moment when I say “I do”!
