Eww. They're my friends. That's what I call them. Friends.

I saw a bachelorette shirt on Etsy that said "Mermaid of Honor" and then the matching shirts for the bridesmaids were all ocean themed. If you're doing your BP near the beach, that could be cute.

I just saw that my cousin bought koozies with "Bride's Bitches" on them. I threw up in my mouth a little bit when I saw those.

We are going with "I DO Crew" and that is for guys and girls. We have three kids between the two of us from previous marriages and to really give them titles seems silly...so we each have our witness and the kids...and all together the 7 of us make up the "I Do Crew"

My bridesmaids bought I Do Crew shirts to wear to our "twerk/pole fitness" party during my bachelorette. This was of no doing of my own. But they were cute in pics.

I'm not their leader. They weren't my crew, squad, brigade, anything.

They're my friends and family. And I called them by their names or the bridesmaids or bridal party. I respect them too much to have thought of them as otherwise.

Brides aren't special. It's pretty common to get married. Their friends/family don't need ridiculous titles.

@Beklynn, someone here did use the term Brides Bitches to reference her bridesmaids. I remember her avatar but can't recall her name.

I call my niece's minions normally and they will be in my wedding so I guess I'll refer to them as my minions.

For our Disney bachelorette party we're wearing sashes, mine saying I do and theirs saying Amber's I do crew. Otherwise, they're simply bridesmaids lol

One of my bridesmaids actually made pins for my bachelorette party. Theirs all said Bride Squad and mine said Bride. It was super cute in pics and I loved that she took the time to make them because you can pretty much buy them anywhere. Love my girls!!

I call mine the "I do crew" or "my girls" because of the true origin of the word bridesmaid, it means handmaiden(servant).

So much around weddings is ridiculous. Have fun no matter what anyone thinks. What you will remember most is the laughs and happy tears. When you think about it, bridesmaids is a pretty loaded term too. Treat yo self!

There are probably some good ideas on pintrest. Are you looking for just a name to call them or is this for t-shirts and stuff? It might sound funny if you just say "my squad" in normal conversation talking about your bridesmaids. I usually just call them my girls or bridesmaids. ETA: typo

Kellye, I thought of some more:

    Chick Clique

    United States My Ring Corps

    League of Their Own

    Knot Lot

    Band of Muthas

    Crazy 88's

I hope these names help. Best wishes!

I don't even like the word "bridesmaid;" it sounds servant-y. I just have 2 (my niece and my BFF), and I call them my "best people." The BFF and I went to a bridal show a while back, and every time someone asked me, "So this is your Maid of Honor...?" I was like, "Uhhhh. Sure." They were very confused, but we both thought it was hilarious.

I can tell you that if someone gave me a 'band of Muthas' t shirt, I'd drop out.

Why do they need a collective name?
