Brides that did Royal Caribbean Cruise weddings in 2018/2019 please help!

Alexandra, on June 27, 2019 at 11:46 PM Posted in Planning 0 4
Hello! To anyone that has done a cruise wedding in 2018/2019 on Royal Caribbean, can you give me an overall review of your wedding and cruise as a whole? I’m reading some reviews that are semi old that scare me a tad and then there’s some recent reviews that kind of show a huge improvement on their communication end of things.

On my cruise wedding, I will be wanting to have my ceremony on one of our first stops and then the reception on the ship. If beautiful bride out there has had a wedding on RC with that sort of itinerary, I could really use your help! TSA

I'm not an RCCL bride BUT I am Loyal to Royal as our preferred cruise line. We have cruised with RCCL 12 times and will keep coming back. Ships are beautiful and well thought out when it comes to design flow of public spaces. Activities galore for guests of all ages and interests. Staff are always friendly, courteous and professional. We spoke to a couple a couple cruises back who got married on board and loved it. They had one of the Sky Suites and had the reception in their huge cabin/balcony and RCCL catered in their room and they even had a 4 piece band on their balcony. I highly suggest getting blocks of rooms for your guests with some adjoining cabins. On our most recent cruise, my mom and I had adjoining balcony rooms on Indy of the Seas and loved it. Coco Cay is recently renovated and AWESOME. I really can't say enough about RCCL, I wanted to be an RCCL bride but FH didn't want a true destination wedding. Good luck with wedding planning and I don't think you can go wrong with RCCL.

I was just on Anthem of The Seas and absolutely loved it!! It’s interesting to hear that they were able to have a reception in their room? I’m having around 80 people so I don’t think that would work! I’m having trouble finding any pictures of weddings on RC so if you have any advice on how to come across photos so I can get an idea of how things would work, please let me know!

    Hi there Alexandra!

A wedding on a cruise sounds fab! Do you have any ideas where you would like the first stop to be for the ceremony?

There are a couple of previous discussions in the community you may find helpful, however, some are quite old. I have linked them below for you.

Hello Aexandra, I’m in the same situation currently. I’m planning a wedding on Royal but I can’t find reviews. Did you decide to have your wedding there? If so, how was it? What do you recommend? Thank you.
