As some states are opening up, I am curious if there were any brides who waited out COIVD. Did you have your wedding? Are you having your wedding? Any huge changes? I’m getting married 9/26 In lovely Jamaica with so far 83 confirmed guest and 27 potential more. Thank God Covid isn’t standing in our way of committing to each other .
I know you guys will have a great honeymoon!!

Our wedding is in November 4th 2020, we’re in California, however we were having a destination wedding in Rome, Italy. We were both worried back in March because of COVID19, we’re both being optimistic despite the talks of a second wave in the fall :-( if that’s the case we’re getting married civil in November and pushing our Catholic wedding in Rome to early 2021. Our state (New Hampshire) just announced that wedding receptions will be allowed to resume June 15th, which to me is crazy considering hotels just opened up again yesterday. I'm not sure how you go from "no one can stay here" and "you can't eat indoors" and "no blow drying hair or getting your nails done" fully open in just weeks. You still can't even get a wedding license in our town. So it's really bizarre.

We eloped on our original date (May 30th) with just our parents and a few close friends and it feels like a bit of a sting that we just missed the cutoff but even with things opening back up I feel like we still have a number of guests that would not have been able to travel and/or belong to more vulnerable groups and wouldn't have enjoyed our wedding freely and openly. We postponed our wedding/reception a full year and I'm confident with that decision (and super happy we still got married anyway), although it does feel like we got particularly hit with the timing of everything.
