I talked to a wedding planner about taking photos for first look at Villa Balbianello and she told me it was a terrible idea as you’ll have to walk 10 minutes up to the venue after getting off the boat. I see so many brides who have made that trip up so would love to hear if it’s worth it?

I’m thinking I’d just bring a pair of shoes easily to walk in and it’s not really a big deal?

It looks gorgeous but that's definitely good information! You'd need to budget a decent amount of time, bring wipes / tissues for touch-ups, potentially have help carrying your dress, and definitely have help carrying your bouquet and change of shoes!!
