I had a 5p ceremony time. Got up around 830a. Went to get my hair done at 9a. Finished at 10a. Went to brunch with my bridesmaids around 1030-11a. Then got ready at 12p with them all and then left to take photos. So 130-3p was photos. 330-5p was set up time.

I'm not planning on getting ready until 2PM.

But my party isn't getting hair and makeup done - just me - and we will be at the venue. We are also not doing a first look, so we don't need as much time before the ceremony.

It really depends on how much you need to get done.

Our ceremony is at 5:30. We're doing a first look and all photos before the ceremony, and at the venue. We have myself and 2 girls getting hair, and myself, one girl, and two moms getting makeup. My current estimate is to get to the salon at 9:00.

My ceremony starts at 6 and we have first look photos at 4. I plan to be at the hotel by 830 to feed my girls breakfast. Hair and makeup starts at 10, we will all be done by 330. It’s a ten minute drive to the venue. The girls will be dressed already and I’ll get dressed at the venue

Consult with your HMUA, photographer and venue. I had 6 ladies getting makeup and/or hair plus myself. We started at 8:00am and I was the last for hair and makeup. My venue didn’t let us on property until a certain time (I think it was 2pm), so we got ready in a nearby hotel and brought HMUA with to venue to stage the HMUA getting ready shots in the bridal suite at the venue. I did first look with bridesmaids and Moms, then Dad and then Husband (in that order for logistics reasons). We did indoor wedding party and immediate family photos pre ceremony and the plan was I had to be out of possible guest sight by 4:45pm in case guests showed up early. The day went well, it was just unusually extremely hot so I missed out on quite a bit of outdoor photos because people were fussy about the heat (good thing we rented a vintage furniture set to have an indoor portrait setting, our venue already had some nice indoor space but it was good to have the extra set). If I had a redo I might have asked the HMUA to stay for a few extra hours (this would be an additional hourly fee) to touch up hair and makeup after the outdoor ceremony, it just seemed egregiously expense at the time when we were making final payments on everything else. 😅

Ours was at 5 PM, we started at 10 AM. We had 13 women and 4 artists (planned around 45 minutes per service). We didn't do a first look either.

I have a 5:30 ceremony time. My HMUA is arriving at 9:30 a.m. I have a total of 8 girls getting hair and/or makeup done. My photographer is arriving at 3:00 to start detail photos around the venue, and will begin taking photos with us in the bridal cabin at 3:30. We will do our first look at 4:00.

My HMUA and my photographers have both sent me detailed timelines of the day. I would reach out to yours and ask for the same.

Sorry, hit done before i was actually done. We're starting at 9am for hair for the girls and my MU artist is arriving at 1 for me and my mom. We plan to be done getting ready at 3pm for early pictures. We are not doing a first look but I want as many pics out of the way as possible, so the bridal portraits of just me and then his pics of just him and then me and my bridesmaids, him and his groomsmen, and about half of the family pics will be done by 4:30. Guests show up then and the ceremony will start at 5.
FH is leaving the house at 9am for the Barber shop with his guys till about 11 or 12 for traditional hot towels shaves, they'll go out for lunch and then arrive at the venue between 1:20 and 2 for them to get dressed by 3.

Ours is pretty much like this too. 6bms and me and we have an 8am start time for makeup. Hair is being done the day before because they are wearing ponytails. We did both ceremony and reception at same venue and we can't arrive until 3pm for the 6pm start time
