Bridesmaid Dilemma

Hi everyone! I asked a cousin to be a bridesmaid in my wedding. She viewed the message, but has not responded. Would it be wrong if I take that as a no and move on?

Seven hours is nothing. The usual when asked, is , do I want to do it? If yes, can I do it on that date? which may mean checking a calendar, but also calling your cousin and sister, both talking of trying to find venues in that month, to see if they will possibly conflict. And someone else you said you would be BM for, six months ago before she had a date. Then, careful budget study.
And if time off work will be required, and it is soon enough to get word, see about that. Then, If all is well, or not going to work, you get back to the bride. Too any BM excitedly say yes when asked, only to say no when they realize they have a conflict, are getting married themselves and never checked with new FI about dates, or else they do not have $100 to spare, never mind $600-$1000 for travel, lodgings, gift, dress. If she has not gotten back to you in 2-3 days, then call and ask her in person. But her taking time to decide usually means she wants to but wants to make sure if she says yes, she can really do it. And you do not want a quick answer yes, then a no later. So don't cut her out.

You can either wait a bit or just call. Sometimes people just have so much going on they unintentionally ignore important messages.

She might be considering whether or not she can pay for stuff or she might be really stressed or over involved. I do theater plus I work full time and I don't really answer anyone during the week before the opening of the play. Give her a call.

I will sent a follow up by calling her then if no response then take it as a no
