Bridesmaid Dresses- Tulle & Chantilly

Has anyone had any positive experiences with ordering bridesmaid dresses from Tulle and Chantilly? I was really excited about the colors and styles, but it has been difficult to get an estimated ship date since all of my (9) bridesmaids have ordered their dresses. Today one of my bridesmaids received an email that their finance department shows that her card reported their charge as fraudulent. However, her bank statement confirms it went through 7 weeks ago we she ordered. I realize it can take a while to make the dresses, but I’m concerned about the lack of communication and this error in their finance department.

Another bridesmaid sent an email (the only form of communication that they offer) to the company and they sent back an automated responses saying that they were closed for 21 days to celebrate the Chinese New Year. I did not even know the company was out of China! I’m looking for some positive experiences to give me some hope because I’m currently distraught wondering whether or not this whole process is a big scam or not. Help?!?

    I know nothing about them but just Google tulle & chantilly reviews. There's a thread on the knot that pops up from 2013. Sorry to say it doesn't look good. Does it list a date they reopen? It is actually still Chinese New Year until the 2nd. Was there a production time frame when you ordered the dresses?

    Have your bridesmaid who they said it came up as a fraud charge call the credit card company. It might be still showing on the account as a hold but they haven't sent the money since it looks like fraud. The credit card company might have a reason for freezing the payment if they have a history of problems with them or something that might help you figure this out.

    My bank declined an order from their because it was an order from out of the country. England. I told them that it wasn't fraud and so they opened my account again.
    My bank declined any out of the country expenses.

    Yes. All bridesmaids have received their dresses and so far we have been really happy with them. Wedding is in 2.5 weeks so I will update when all is said and done! Overall, it was a little concerning at times, but the dresses came in on time despite the company being on vacation for the new year for nearly a month.

    TOO-GOOD-TO-BE-TRUE website…is just that.

    Found this TOO-GOOD-TO-BE-TRUE website to be just that - DON'T DO IT. Seven bridesmaids ordered the same skirt for the same wedding in different sizes and NONE of them fit anybody. ALL OF THEM WERE TOO SMALL and WAAAAYY too long (even for the 6'2" girl) and had to be trimmed and fixed up. The material wasn't worth the money and the hooks were cheap. Tulle & Chantilly got us our dresses in time but it didn't help since we couldn't wear them.
