Bridesmaid dresses

Hi all. I am having my daughter as my maid of honor (she’s 20, rail thin and 5’6”) and my sister in law as a bridesmaid (she’s 51 , heavier and 5’ flat) . I found this dress I am in love with for my daughter , especially since she has red hair so I thought a sage green would be perfect for her. I’m debating buying this one for my daughter and letting my SIL pick whatever she likes in a similar color family. Does this seem ok? There is no way to find one dress that will flatter them both so I figured why not? Bridesmaid dresses 1

    I think that's a great idea! It's essentially what I'm doing with my bridesmaids. My FSIL is a ballerina, literally, so the dress that looks fab on her is going to be different than the one that perfectly suits my plus size queen of a matron of honor. I picked the color and narrowed down the style but let them do the rest!

    That's a beautiful dress and a really lovely idea.

    You could offer to go shopping with your sister in law, if she wants, or tell her you're happy for her to choose her own without your input if she prefers!

    That dress is really gorgeous, by the way!

    Love this idea! All my bridesmaids are in the same color, but a dress of their choosing.

    Aww thanks that’s what she said. I’m very lucky… she always tells me I am beautiful regardless of how bad I think i look. And she genuinely means it. 🥰
