If you're having ushers escort, why not make them groomsmen?

You could have them walk individually but I have also been to plenty of weddings where a groomsman walked with 2 bridesmaids or a bridesmaid walked with 2 groomsmen. I would probably leave the ushers out of the processional. Although, to be honest, I’ve never actually been to a wedding with an usher, so that’s probably where that thought comes from.

It would seem odd to me that you would have ushers walk down the aisle with bridesmaids and then have them sit down. If they are going to walk down the aisle, I would have them be groomsmen and stand with you all at the front. If you aren't going to do that, I would not have them walk down the aisle.

In our social circles, groomsmen do double duty as ushers. So just make them groomsmen or skip them.

The other option I have seen is having the bridesmaids walk together, so it would be:

Bridesmaid/Bridesmaid

Bridesmaid/Groomsman

Bridesmaid/Groomsman

MOH/BM

I think they can either walk solo or double up with a groomsmen. I don’t like the usher idea either like someone else mentioned. I’ve also never been to a wedding with a usher.

I would personally have a groomsman walk with two bridesmaids or have two bridesmaids walk together. I agree with the others, having the ushers walk in the processional seems a bit odd

I think 2 women each would look cleaner and less like the other bridesmaids were afterthoughts.
