Bridesmaid getting ready outfits

Clarisse, on February 21, 2023 at 10:20 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
I'm thinking of doing comfy pj's for my girls as we get hair/makeup done. Any ideas? Everything is so expensive and I'd like to get a set in 7 if possible. What are you ladies doing for getting ready?

I am looking on Amazon and having my cousin add print onto it if needed. Burlington, kohl's and Macy's usually have decent prices. And shein, ive bought myself and daughter a bunch from there! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I got these cheap robes off Amazon just to do something fun. But tbh you only have so many pictures of you getting ready versus when you’re all dressed/ the rest of your day that I didn’t really care what we were wearing. When I look at my photos I see smiles and laughter and fun. Not the outfits. And you think you’ll have all this time for cute photos with your bridesmaids in your matching outfits but you’re really busy so you may only get a handful if you’re lucky. I got mine from Etsy! I don’t have pictures of them on since I haven’t had my wedding yet, but they came out gorgeous! I ordered mine on Black Friday so it was supposedly a better deal, but I honestly think I saw the same “50% off” sale when I was scrolling through recently.

Target sells inexpensive sets in the Across Stars brand in both shorts and long pants. Make sure the top is button up to avoid messing up hair and makeup that happens with a tshirt or tank top that is not cut down the front. Ideally, just ask them to provide their own button up top from Target or Old Navy and either leggings or sweatpants of their choice. No need to go over budget providing them.

I was just looking at this! Shein has cute 7 piece satin pajama sets (with great reviews) for $32. Temu has them cheaper (I haven’t used Temu before but they have great reviews with photos too). Shein also has 3 piece sets- robe with dress and hair wrap, or robe with shirt and pants- for about $20 per set. When I looked at custom robes, it was almost the same price as doing a full satin set.

We didn't take getting ready pictures, but I did get everyone a monogrammed zip hoodie, monogrammed leggings, and fluffy slippers with their names on them. All of it was through Etsy Smiley smile
