    GUIDELINES FOR BRIDESMAIDS GIFTS:

(!) Robes don't count. They're props for your photos.

    (2) Don't put "bridesmaid" or "bride tribe" on anything. They'll never be used again.

    (3) Jewelry for the wedding doesn't count. Again, they're props for your photos.

    (4) The purpose is to buy gifts THEY want, as if you would for Christmas or their birthday. Would you get them jewelry for your wedding for Christmas? I certainly hope not. These gifts are meant to thank them for spending time and money to be in your wedding. Let it be all about them, not you.

I don't have money and have 6 bm's including MOH and Matron of honor. Each box I made came out to $20. I bought the box on clearance from Michael's. It features an atlas (theme was travel spa) (to open up ideas for the bach ^_^) Inside: Wedding Day scent tea light from Yankee Candle, Sephora face mask, custom luggage tag "Say I Do to New Adventures", bath bomb and then some papers that lists each bridal party member with phone numbers, details about wedding, paint card samples for dress color inspo and each had a definition of a bm ending with their name.

Total tear jerker for my ladies. I pretended it was a Christmas gift and they were so shocked Smiley smile

My bridesmaids asked for the robes. Those are more than props- were getting ready in them and get to look cute while doing so. Also was going to get lush bath bombs and a tote as a surprise

I paid for their dresses and got them each a nice piece of jewelry and then an additional gift that varies depending on the person (a book, a phone charger wristlet, Sephora gift cards, etc).

I'm doing floral satin robes, mini bottles of champagne, earring and necklace set and maybe something else small. Just something to say thank you! Plus I know my girls and know they'd love all that stuff Smiley smile

I'm doing a personalized stemless wine glass that I created with my Silhouette Portrait vinyl cutter, along with a monogrammed tote, faux pearl earrings and bracelet, mini bottle of wine, and a white robe that I plan on monogramming with heat transfer vinyl. I think in all, I'm spending about $25 per girl. I feel like I am giving them a lot of items that they can reuse and aren't personalized to just "bridesmaid" or "maid of honor." It's been fun to DIY these gifts!

@Jessa, if you're using them for getting ready photos, how is that not a photo prop?

I disagree w Liz. I know that I would love to make my gifts a surprise, and getting some outside pointers can def be helpful!!

I got a really pretty wine glass w my name on it, a bangle bracelet w my initial that I wear often, a 31 bag, and a personalized origami owl necklace .. Those were my favorite. Hope that helps! As far as "prop" stuff goes...I have been in many weddings and consistently get jewelry for the wedding, robes, or whatnot and have been grateful. One thing I will do, is not put "bridesmaid" on the back so they can use them again.

I got them a tote in the colors of our wedding from a Facebook wholesale group. I'll fill it with generic things, a stainless steel tumbler with a reusable plastic straw in our color (no decal), "hangover" stuff like advice and electrolyte powder, fuzzy aloe Vera infused socks for them to use after a night of dancing, a caribou or starbucks giftcard for the morning after, mini Epsom salt packets and bath bombs (haven't decided if I'll do lush, or that whole sale group, I love the whole sale group's and they're half the price) and I'll also do a more personalized gift for each one of them. Probably in the form of a giftcard so there are no hurt feelings (they're all so different at much different places in their life!)

For our DW, we're making welcome bags for those attending the rehearsal dinner and including the BP gifts in those bags. Since folks have to travel, I went with individualized jewelry for the girls, but it's not something they are expected to wear at the wedding.

Jessa, if they're being used for photos, they're considered props. Sorry. The tote and bath bombs are your gifts.

I got each of my bridesmaids a personalized gift, but then I included these sunglasses as a fun thing for us to all wear and look like a group. I was hesitant since they didn’t have any reviews, but it was worth the risk, and they are super cute and well made for the price! They also don’t look like the typical Raybans that everyone already has piled in their glove box. Hopefully they’ll wear them after the wedding too!
