I ended up having a micro wedding with no wedding party, but prior to that, I was planning a big wedding with 7 bridesmaids. They were so supportive while I was planning and pivoting due to COVID and they still hosted some prewedding festivities, so I gave them gifts. I themed their gifts around wine. I got them each a monogrammed tote bag that had their favorite bottle of wine, a few cocktail recipe cards that they could use the wine to make, a personalized Yeti wine tumbler (that some of them use to drink coffee out of too), a wine stopper, and a Prosecco scented candle with their initial on it. The gifts were a hit!

Um, okay. I definitely recommend getting them something that they will use. I have received so much "junk" over the years that just sits and collects dust.

I got each of my bridesmaids a piece of Kendra Scott jewelry and they were a big hit! I also got them silk pajamas with their initials monogrammed but I didn’t really consider those to be a gift because they were basically photo props, haha. I’d definitely recommend jewelry as a nice gift. I’d avoid anything that has your wedding date on it or anything that says “bridesmaid”

Avoid anything wedding related..including anything to be worn for the wedding (jewelry, robes, etc)..nothing names/titles/date.

Pick something that fits their individual interests and hobbies that you would buy them for a birthday that they will use and appreciate long after the wedding is over. Etsy is a great place to look.

Im paying for hair and makeup for the girs. I know this is not a "meaningful gift" but i will say my girls are very happy about it and said that they wish the bride woudl have done this in other weddings over getting them a robe or necklace

I've always been told to avoid anything with your name or "bridesmaid" on it!

I didn't really love the idea of pajamas or robes, but since our photographer will be there the entire day with us, I wanted to get the girls something to wear! I asked them what the preferred and would use again and they all voted lounge sets, rather than pjs or robes! I'm doing Kendra Scott earrings and trendy slippers. Along with a letter for each of them and brunch and bottomless mimosas for the day of.

I agree with this! I would skip anything that says "Bridesmaid" or has your name/wedding date on it. People often suggest to shop for them as if it's their birthday, and get them each individual gifts based on their interests and hobbies. I'm getting my bridesmaids each some gifts that are all the same as each other, and some that are different. For the common gifts, I'm giving them each a tote bag with their name embroidered on it, a hangover kit, and a wine glass. For the individual gifts, I'm getting them things such as a gift card to their favorite restaurant, jewelry, candles, etc. Each one is getting something different depending on what they like, but those are some of the things I'm considering.

I plan on gifting my bridesmaids jewelry. Haven't decided on the brand yet, but I'm considering Kendra Scott, Olive + Piper, or Anthropologie. I also plan on giving them some type of getting ready outfit and paying for their hair and makeup, but those don't count as gifts because they're wedding-related. I think nice jewelry is always a safe and popular gift.

All my bridesmaids are friends I met during college most of us lived together for years, I want to get bracelets with the latitude and longitude of the school where we all met. Also doing pajamas, travel wine glasses, travel jewelry containers, was considering fuzzy socks since it’s winter, was considering trying to make my own champagne or rose gummy bears. In my proposal type boxes I’m including candles, face masks, lip balm, travel hair brush, among a few smaller items.

So far, my favorite gifts have been bags! I've gotten some great tote bags and even an overnight bag that I've used so many times since. They were also great for the day of because I could fit my clothes in there, shoes, makeup, etc. Also wine glasses. But I'm a sucker for a good wineglass so I still use mine all of the time.

As for what I'm getting my girls -- so far, I'm paying for their hair/makeup, get ready outfits, and a hanger for their dress. Though those don't count since it's wedding stuff. I'm thinking for their gift, finding out their favorite perfume and getting them a small bottle, a candle, wine glass, and maybe a gift card to their favorite store? All of that will be in a bag they can use the day of the wedding.

I loved when I got some bath/spa stuff as a bridesmaid gift! Masks, scrubs and bath bombs are great. I may incorporate a bit of that as well for my bridesmaids as I know they also enjoy bath/spa things.

Robes/pajamas are definitely on my list to give along with some personalized art.

So I have 4 bridesmaids (all very close to me) and I’m having a Beauty and the Beast wedding. But for their gifts, I got them each a shot glass made with a quote from their favorite Disney princess, a shirt each made of their favorite Disney princess with the quote as well, each a mini liquor bottle (of their favorite liquor), their favorite candy, and a handwritten note explaining how much I appreciate them and being glad that they agreed to be my bridesmaid. For the night before, I was thinking about getting them each track suits with BRIDESMAID written down the pants leg and own the back on the jacket for them to wear on the morning of (for makeup and hair styling before wedding).

PLEASE dont get them all the same things (although I would spend about the same). Shop like you would for their birthdays. They gifts should have nothing to do with your wedding. Jewelry/PJ/Robes/picture frames/matching scarves/etc to wear at the wedding are not gifts for them.

If you have a coffee lover, maybe a cool mug and nice bag of coffee or starbucks gift card, the makeup fanatic a sephora gift card or pallet you know she's been eyeing, the fashionista a cool accessory or gift card to a store she likes, another maybe a gift card for a mani/pedi. They're your best friends, so just shop like you would any other holiday Smiley smile

I do not need any more mismatched shot/wine/beer glasses, matching scarves, matching jewelry, or literally anything with your wedding date on it. It all gets donated ASAP.

I have 5 bridesmaids and my gift to them is coral pearl earrings and necklace to wear to the wedding but they will have forever. I absolutely love this set and they all love pearls. I also got them all matching robes for the pre-wedding dressing room photos and bridesmaid sashes. Altogether I am spending $30 per bridesmaid.
