Bridesmaid Name on Program?

Hello, I have a quick question- two of my bridesmaids are no longer able to attend the wedding for various reasons. What’s the proper etiquette regarding placing them in the program? If they are unable to attend do I leave them out or keep them in? Not really sure what to do.

You could put a section that says something like "Celebrating from Afar" and list their names there? Or ask if they want to be listed at all? They may not want to draw attention to the fact that they couldn't make it.

I would include them in the program, but as others suggested make a note along the lines of "unable to attend". It's too bad they can't make it! Have a wonderful wedding!
