Bridesmaid Newsletter Template

Yolanda, on July 21, 2015 at 9:39 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 22

Hi, I would like to send information out to my wedding party via the a newsletter and I was wondering if anybody out there had a template they wouldn't mind sharing.

I know Microsoft Word and Publisher have a bunch of templates. Maybe play around with those.

You can also use an online email marketing service like mail chimp that is usually free for an email list under a certain number and just pick one of their predesigned email templates.

I'm just taking a guess here but maybe etsy might have a cute "wedding" type template for a newsletter.

I plan on sending 4 (1) page email newsletters out to my bridesmaid. I was to remind them of colors, due dates, arrival times, events and share pictures too! I was hoping for a template so I could get some ideas on content and format. I googled "bridesmaid newsletter template" and saw many examples however none of them were editable. I would like a true editable template.

Sounds like too much effort that they probably won't even read. I know my BMs wouldn't read it and my MOH would say "What the f*ck is this shit?".

Just send them a text when you need to or pick up the phone.

They don't need to be micromanaged, sent 'newsletters' be reminded of colors (seriously?) what kind of events? Really - Try a text message or email. This is ridiculous.

Don't be a "binders full of bridesmaid" bride (sorry reference to a bride who made her BMs binders and was a little.... bridezilla-ish).

It might be better to just send a group email. I communicate information in a FB group chat. There's not been a ton, but since my BMs are OOT, it's the best way to send information. Please try not to inundate the with wedding stuff. Finally, remember these are your friends first, BMs second.

I really think it might just be easier and more appreciated if it's just an e-mail. You could still make it cute if you want to but what if they want to reference something and don't have it with them or just throw it away? Seems like a waste of time/money.

Edit: Oh my sweet pies. I just googled "bridesmaid newsletter template". Please, please don't do that to your friends.

This is ridiculous - don't do this. e-mail 'updates' with important info are enough.

What does this accomplish that you can't accomplish via a text message or a phone call? How much information can you possibly have that would take up ONE newsletter, let alone 4?

Yolanda, I would suggest an email with the pertinent info on times as it gets closer. A newsletter is awfully impersonal to send to your nearest and dearest.

Please don't do this. Tell them what to do, update via email. This is not their job.

No. I would just laugh and probably drop out if I got one of these. This is very Bridezilla-y.

I've never heard of this. I just sent them an email that basically said "So excited for you to be a part of my day. This is the date and place of our wedding. This is the theme. Here are some inspiration pics. Please wear this. Love you, thank you"

I think if you do make one, you are setting yourself up to be disappointing from your BP. I communicated to BP through group texts, when I needed them to be fitted or sized.

I just googled "Bridesmaid Newsletter Template" and I found this

    https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/bridesmaid-newsletter-lets-see-it/d59cd25da192095e.html

    Apparently it's a thing? I don't think I will do it tho.
