I will be getting married 8/18/18. I would like to send my "proposals" 8.18.17 and I'm on a budget. I will be getting married 8/18/18. I would like to send my "proposals" 8.18.17 and I'm on a budget. I was thinking of sending something creative like a balloon proposal where they would pop the balloon and inside it would be confetti and "will you be my bridesmaid". I have 11 bridesmaids so it would $134.30 total including shipping. Should I add something else in the box? After they pop them...its nothing else for them to keep. Is this idea too expensive for just a balloon? I was thinking about adding a personalized card and save the date cookie and popcorn as well but that's more money! I will be also giving each girl a box for the bachelorette party, and a thank you gift.

I may have to steal your idea. I am looking for inexpensive ways to ask my bridesmaid and your option is the best one that I have found!

A year in advance is no to early. Who wants to plan wedding within a year. I got engaged to my fiancé Oct 22,2017. I just proposed to 2 maid of honors. And 9 bridesmaids 02/1/2018. And our wedding is June 2019. It’s nothing wrong with planning a wedding earlier. That way you have time to relax and not become overwhelmed with all the different things you have to do. Especially when you not getting a wedding planner. If your on a budget you should buy some now and buy some later, so you won’t be breaking the bank all at once. I made my lady a shadow box. I put it in a box with a note inside a ballon letting them know how much I appreciate them. And everything costed around $125. I mean it’s for 11 people don’t expect anything cheaper when you want to do something over the top and special for all your friends. Not everyone have to follow the wedding planner rules. Good Luck!!!!
