I finally finished my boxes! I know that many feel these are unnecessary, but I had fun making them and since all of my bridesmaids live 3+ hours from me, I really wanted to do something up front to show them how thankful I am for them and the time they will put into helping me. This weekend my MOH and one of my BMs got to meet for the first time and I gave them both their boxes. The others will be given out in the next couple of months.
Quick cost breakdown:
Wine tumblers (etsy) - $14.75 each including shipping
Cards (etsy) - $4.50 each
Hair ties (amazon) - $2 each (bought a 6 pack for $12)
Bride tribe mirrors (amazon) - $3.80 each (bought a 6 pack for $23)
Face masks and EOS lip balm (target) - $5 each
Total per box for gifts = $30
I did not keep track of the cost of materials for the actual boxes, because I used a combination of new stuff and stuff I already had. The boxes were $2 photo boxes from Michaels. I lined them with scrapbook paper and filled them with shredded paper. I bought a roll of lace and a roll of ribbon for the lids and bows, gift tags, and some clearance flowers after summer for the mini bouquets.
