Bridesmaid Proposals - Boxes and Ideas

HappilyEverCedeno, on May 10, 2016 at 4:29 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 30

I'm looking for inexpensive cute boxes that I can send directly to my girls in the mail. I don't want to buy cute boxes that have to go in ugly mail boxes haha!

Also does anyone have ideas of good things to include in the bridesmaid proposal?

What I'm thinking:

-Something I want them to wear at my bachelorette

-Poem asking them

-Color scheme of wedding

-Mini champagne bottle

-A contact list of the other girls

-And then a little note explaining that them being my bridesmaid is enough so no need for wedding gifts

Anything else I could include??? THANKS!

I would love to send them chocolate but I bet it would melt in this Texas heat while being mailed. Thanks for the idea though!! Much appreciated.

These are mine=) I have a total of 4, 1 of which I will have to mail. My MOH has a black background and the bridesmaids have silver/grey backgrounds. I've posted it before on here so sorry if you've already seen it!

    - mini wine bottle - candle - framed pic - chocolate - a cut out dress asking them to be my BM/MOH (got that idea from etsy)

~ my colors are black, charcoal grey, and white..maybe a hint of pink ~

Also I got my boxes from Michaels - they were $6 something each, but I used their 40% off coupon for each one. It's unfinished wood they're perfect for bridesmaid boxes!

I did all wedding color things. A nail polish, a little diy Alex and Ani bracelet with their inital, a little travel lotion "endless weekend" from bath &body works. And I did mini champagnes with a paper straw tied to it. However, I had to ship 3 and I put mini wines in them because shipping champagne didn't sound safe. Lol

I bought boxes at Michael's they were all 50% all different size all my bridesmaids loved them. I put a picture with their cards, some cute pj's, chocolate, a hanger to use for their dresses, a sports cup, key chain and some goodies in a make up bag, and lastly some body spray.

I made my own - covered some little boxes in tinfoil and decorated with stickers, then put a ring pop inside.

These are mine! Box is from hobby lobby, a photo of me and BM, little bottle of champagne, some sweet treats and a sunflower with a denim card which is theme of wedding! I wanted to do something with the robes for them to wear the day of, but you may think of the fact since its 6 months away, they may wear them, lose them or ruin them! That's why I didn't incorporate one in my box, I'm going to give them to them the night before so they can be fresh and in perfect condition!

Sounds like a great idea! Our post office has cute boxes that can be shipped directly so you don't have to pack your 'pretty' boxes. I don't think they're too expensive either
