Bridesmaid robe alternatives

Uniform!!! No, let them dress how they'd like. They are not props.

Let them wear what they own and don't photograph them getting ready.

I've been a BM umpteen times and never been photographed getting ready. This is a ridiculous fad that needs to die.

I'm not a fan of the matchy outfits to get ready but I have seen people use button ups. That's also easier so your hair won't get messed up like it could with a pull over shirt.

I will have photos of the bridal party prep but they'll be in what they came in. I've seen ladies in all sorts of things, my favorite is the robes though. Or the bride squad tanks

I was in one wedding where the bride asked if all of us either had a chambray button up or a flannel. All of us had a chambray one so we all just wore those.

I only had my sister but I got us PJ sets from Target. They didn't match but the colors coordinated well. Mine was t-shirt and shorts and hers was shorts a spaghetti strap. She ended up wearing a VS cotton robe over hers.

Kelsey, those are really cute! Hoodies are a great idea because you don't have to pull them over your head and mess up hair & makeup.

OP, a lot of brides like to have get ready pics with their BP, after all their supposed to be their best friends. Just ask they want they'd like to wear.

My girls asked for pajamas! Something cozy, but light enough to wear in the summer. And button down! So they don't mess up hair and makeup while they get ready

We had robes so our hair didn't get messed up but we all wore leggings or shorts with it.

My MOH did black robes for the BP. I will probably never wear it again, but the pictures of us together came out incredibly cute!! And I will be doing it for my BP. I wouldn't consider this a "gift" to the girls, because I really don't think they'll be used again. But, I think they're adorable (and my flower girl is sooo excited about getting a robe).

The reason I'm doing robes is so when they are changing, they don't mess up their hair trying to take off their shirt. They don't have to wear them if they don't want to, but it makes sense.

My favorite as a bridesmaid was the matching flannel shirts the bride got us! Comfy, looks good on everyone, won't mess up your hair and makeup, and I re-wear that shirt all the time

Im thinking of doing zip up hoodies, but not going to put anything on them, so they can wear them again.
