Bridesmaid Sleepover/get Together

Haley, on June 20, 2019 at 11:15 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 6

Hey guys! I've never been in a wedding or planned one before. Next weekend I'm having a sleepover with all my bridesmaids so they can meet and get to know each other and just have fun.

My MOH is kind of planning everything with my FH cousin who is hosting us (she's basically my FMIL since my FMIL passed away).

Is there anything we should do to make everyone more comfortable about each other? I don't really plan on talking about wedding stuff too much unless they bring it up or have questions.

Any games we could play or a way to make this less awkward for the girls? There's 5 of them plus me and the hostess.

I wouldn't worry! It will be fun. My bachelorette party was super fun with 6 of my bridesmaids (two of them didn't know anyone at all) and everyone was great friends by the end. I'd just have stuff to do, like have some kind of dinner planned & maybe something like face masks or nail polish or something for a to do? And a few movies?

I think they are making reservations for a restaurant on the river and we will go back and have drinks at the house I'm sure. I almost want to buy Bridesmaids and watch that but that might be tooo much ahaha.

You could always download it and one or two other options, then give the girls a choice! I think it's festive.

Wine/cocktails will definitely help, if your group of girls is into that! I'd recommend making a playlist of throw back songs that everyone would enjoy, cards against humanity is fun and can break the ice a little, pictionary could be fun too, personally I don't like to do face masks and stuff around people I don't know so I'm not sure if you'd want to go the "spa night" route but you know your crowd.
