Bridesmaid Survival Kit with poem- changed wording

Lynnie Pin, on December 27, 2013 at 11:50 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 12

Since Im unable to get my BMs nails done due to financial reasons i decided to go with something else. Online they had survival kit poems so i changed the wording into something my own and this is what i came up with!

This survival Kit

Was made just to say, Im thrilled you are

Beside me on my wedding day!

There’s chocolate to eat in case you get hungry

If your neck starts to sweat use the scrunchie!

In case of a spill, heres some tide

Ive included some tissues in case you should cry!

Use the mints to keep your breath nice and fresh

& the lip gloss to help look your best!

Theres a shot in the bag if your nervous and need a drink

& deodorant for when you absolutely stink!

Theres ibprofien inside incase its ill that you feel

And bandaids to help you tackle those heels!

Ive put everything in this handy pack

so youll know this bride has got your

back

ILL POST FINISHED PRODUCT WHEN DONE Smiley smile

This Survival Kit was made just to say,

I'm thrilled you are beside me on my wedding day!

There’s chocolate to eat in case you get hungry,

If your neck starts to sweat, use the scrunchie!

In case of a spill, here's some tide,

I've included some tissues in case you should cry!

Some mints to keep your breath nice & fresh,

And use the lip gloss to help look your best!

A shot if you're nervous and need a drink,

Deodorant for if you absolutely stink!

There's ibuprofen inside incase it's ill that you feel,

And bandaids to help you tackle those heels!

I've put everything in this handy pack,

so you'll know this Bride has got your back!

(Not sure if you are posting from a phone, but there were a lot of punctuation errors and apostrophes missing that are needed in the contractions.)

Suggestions for changing some of the &/and and reduced the number or words in the shot line and perhaps use "if" you stink, not "when."

(edited for spelling error, thanks Jackie)

Wasn't a grammar lesson. I had a feeling you were on a phone, and that is why I typed it.

It is more for anyone that is reading this, if they want to use it, they can copy and paste the finalized version.

Well thanks. Sorry it just bothers me that lately i have been posting things and I get all these people that are giving me smart-ass comments for no reason that had nothing to do with my initial question and it just bothers me

    - Came on here alot because this site used to be a big help to me but the last few things i put up somebody had something rude to say for no reason

In response to your other thread: Just let it go. No need to dwell on something that probably won't matter in a year.

    PS: Cute poem!

I didn't know it was rude to suggest you reduce the number of words in one line and change "When you stink" to "IF" you stink.

Congrats on the engagement and good luck these last few weeks with the final details.

That other thread wasnt directed towards Bride- it was more of a manifestation of all the other posts that i have written that somebody had to comment and leave something that had nothing to do with my post lol.

    Thanks bride you too!

Lynnie I think it is cute although I do like the changes that Bride made. I might be a little offended at "when you stink" and think "If you stink" is funny.
