Bridesmaid to do reading

I would just have her move closer to you or maybe put a mic on her, but not have it turned on until she is giving the speech.

She’s the BM after the MOH in the lineup. I’m thinking that she will give her flowers to the BM next to her (the MOH might be holding my flowers) move to the center where the officiant is, give a reading & then go back to her spot.

Our MOH just put her flowers down on the altar, picked up the book with the reading in it from the altar, and did the reading.

I’ve been in weddings where a BM has done a reading. They just have the girl next to them hold their flowers, walk up for the reading, and go back to their spot with the rest of the girls. I’ve never noticed any disruption from it.
