Bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces

💗💗, on September 19, 2018 at 3:18 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 6
I’m considering repurposing my bridesmaids bouquets . I don’t want them to just look thrown together on the table, but I also don’t want too much work on their part or anyone’s part to create a new design . Has anyone done this or is doing this and has pictures they are willing to share? I’m doing all low centerpieces. Does anyone know what vases will look good for this ? On my other tables I’m doing greenery and candles . I’m open to pictures for these things as well . Thank you

The bridesmaids bouquets and the centerpieces are the same for my wedding, lol.

    I doubt anyone will notice.

We did this, but we only used them for our head table! We had tall, clear, cylinder vases.

We are using then for the head table. We will have the vases set up ahead of time and they can just plop them in after the entrance!

We used the bridesmaids bouquets (only 3 of them) and my bouquet to add to the accent tables like the candy bar and guest book table. I think repurposing the bouquets as centerpiece options is a great idea. Just keep in mind that if you're taking pictures after the ceremony you will need enough time for those pictures and then for the venue to take the bouquets and set them up before the guests arrive in the room for the reception. Here's a pic of the candy bar using my bouquet.

Hi Brittany! Welcome to WeddingWire and congrats on your engagement!

Agreeing with the others, this is a great idea for repurposing! I have seen it done very nicely in quite a few weddings. Another repurposing decor detail I once saw was using the floral & lantern style aisle runners in the ceremony as the centerpieces for the reception, following. No one noticed and it was a great way to save money on florals and have both beautiful aisle decor & centerpieces.

You can find some ideas here for centerpieces on our Pinterest page. Clear vases are a great idea and paired with the greenery + candles on the other tables, I am sure it will be so pretty. Smiley heart

Our venue has a gorgeous fireplace in the reception room that our cake table will be directly in front of when we cut the cake. The DOC always suggests using the bridesmaid bouquets to decorate the mantle. If you truly worry about them being your centerpieces with timing and whatnot, there are other ways to repurpose them for the reception!
