Bridesmaids dresses

Karen , on May 3, 2019 at 3:46 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11
My wedding is getting close and I have yet to decide on bridesmaids dresses. I wanna have them try in the dresses from azazie. How did you ladies make out with the dresses?

We gave everyone a color, length, and material and let them choose whatever dress they liked from Azazie.

I really wanted art deco style bridesmaids dresses for my girls. So I looked into Adrianna Papell but didn't see anything I like so turned to Etsy but would be too much of a hassle for the girls. So ended up going with metallic dresses from Sorella Vita. Their dresses are beautiful. I saw them in person and decided they were the ones and let the girls chose which style they wanted to wear. They ended up choosing the same style at the end.

Do you have a color in mind already? Or certain print/style/length/fabric? There are so many only options and you can always order swatches to see if you like the color in person.

We went to David’s Bridal. I had a general idea of what I wanted them in. Simple, not strapless, floor length and 2 shades of purple. The dresses all came in within 3 weeks and it was a great experience. Do you want them all in the same color or dress? You could give them a few guidelines and let them choose

Yes we are going with the regency purple. I think I am going to let them choose.

They haven't been ordered since our wedding isn't until November, however, Azazie has their turnaround times posted on their website.

Mine ordered from Azazie, took probably almost two months, but I think their turnaround times are always changing so definitely check the website. Most girls have to get their dresses altered but will still be cheaper than buying from a bridal shop. The quality is nice, and I liked that I was able to create a "showroom" of dresses and the girls could each pick what they wanted from there. They all made sure to order within a 24 hour window so they all have the exact same color (came from same dye lot).

My SIL had 10 bm's and we all used Azazie in navy. She let us choose whatever we wanted and I think there were only 2 girls with the same dress. It looked awesome. The dresses only took a few weeks to come in - it was very quick.

Also, they offer custom sizing for no additional fee which will eliminate the need for alternations. We all ordered at different times (probably 6 months apart between the first and last) and they were the same color. The die lot thing is not a big deal at all.
