One of my bridesmaids loves having her hair short, kind of like a pixie cut, but more like Anne Hathaway in Les Mis. I am totally 100% okay with the fact that she likes her hair short however, I am faced with the dilemma of what to do with her hair if she chooses to go that short closer to the wedding day (May 29th 2022). I've contemplated hair clips, maybe a floral headband of some sort? Would it be wrong of me to ask her to keep it a little longer so that we are able to do something with it that makes her feel confident but also doesn't make her stand out as the only one with short hair?

I also should add that she is a very blonde woman, like platinum blonde, and will be wearing a slate gray wedding dress with accents of peach.

Why does she need something in her hair? She can style it nicely and that will be fine. But please don't ask your friend to wear her hair a way other than what she wants.

There are plenty of accoutrements for short hair that she can use to add to her look.

Yes, it would be wrong to ask a bridesmaid to cut, grow, or dye their hair. You start out saying your are 100% ok with your style but all of the rest of your words say that you are not. You are completely allowed to not like her hair, but you will just have to accept her body the way it (including her hair) is.

Short hair can be styled and have clips or a headband added to without being grown out, so put your focus there without singling her out for being "different."

Maggie, thank you for the input but I'm not singling her out for being different. I am 100% okay with her short hair, however I didn't know how to approach the subject nor did I know what to do with her hair, if she also wanted to do something with her hair. I came to ask a question and get some advice. But you can pick and choose what to reply about, but again thank you for the input.

Great! And my input is that you don't have to add this to your list of things to worry about.

It is absolutely wrong to ask her to grow her hair out, if she doesn't want to! I think no matter what, not all your girls are going to look exactly the same. And that makes it fun!! But, if you want her to have something in her hair to make her feel a little more special, here's a few things I found that might work! A braid maybe can work, a cute barrette, a headband, etc.
