Are you getting marred on the sand or is it going to in a center they have?

If it's going to be in the sand then you'll just have to think about their heels falling into the sand as well as any sand getting in your shoes.

I would rather be bare-footed in the sand and wearing those feet jewelry things then have some shoes for after.

I think it’ll look fun and comfortable. If the dresses are long, no one really notices the shoes anyway. And beach weddings are more casual anyway. I’d stick with “wear what you want” and don’t stress.

Shoes of any kind are impossible to walk in on the sand is impossible. It’s great that you are giving them freedom to pick what they are comfortable in. Tell the one wearing the sneakers to rethink that. They are not formal enough. Dressy sandals are appropriate. The “barefoot” shoes don’t work on concrete and other surfaces because nothing protects you.

If they're wearing long dresses, no one will see their feet. If you're really worried, maybe tell them to wear a certain color shoe (ex: black, beige, don't be too specific)
