Bridesmaids wearing different shoes?

My girls wore long dresses so I let them wear any shoes they wanted as long as they went well with the color since they couldn't be seen that well anyways

Yes, all of my girls are wearing long dresses so I just told them to find shoes they are comfortable in and gave them a color. I was in a wedding two years ago where we wore short dresses and she just asked us to get nude open toed shoes. It looked good in pictures!!

I told mine to wear whatever shoes they want. Didn't give a color or anything. They are wearing long dresses. If the dresses were short I would have picked a color but that's it.

Knowing my BMs, three of them will wear heels, two of them will wear TOMs, and one will probably not wear any shoes.

I just said any black shoe and they are wearing short dresses. I don't care if they are strappy, flats, heels, or whatever. I hate it so much when I'm a BM and the bride tells me what exact shoe to wear, bc generally I can't stand them being someone who never wears heels. Everyone has different feet and different shoes that feel comfortable. So I think just a color is a great way to go OP!

I was a BM in my FSIL wedding a few years ago, and we wore short dresses. She just asked that we wore silver shoes of some kind. Although I was skeptical at first, I don't think it looked bad at all!

Mine are wearing whatever shoes they want. My sister has broken her ankle in the past and then twisted it again, while wearing heels for our brothers wedding 2 years ago. She will be wearing flats. The others will pick a style and color they like. I only recommended what colors I thought went well with the dress: nude, silver, gold or any combination of these colors. Their dresses are long, so its no biggie if they are all very different or some random color.

We are doing long dresses so I told them to wear whatever shoes they want to as long as they get the dress hemmed to fit with those shoes.

If they were to be short dresses give them an easy color to match (like black ) and let them do whatever they want. If you want a colored shoe make sure they are all the same shade, you wouldn't want to have like 6 different versions of blue lol

My girls did short dresses and they wore whatever they wanted. I think all but one wore heels, but it didn't matter to me.

I let them choose the color of shoes & they chose gold. They regretted it so much because 2 weeks before the wedding they were trying to find cute gold heels and they were SO hard to find (especially on a budget). I'd recommend nude, silver, or black over gold, but that's just based on my experience!

I asked that the girls wear the same color shoe, they can pick whatever style they want. Its not a detail that matters for the event, but having comfortable shoes is!

My girls are all in red dresses but different styles, so it only made sense to me that they could have different styles of shoe also. Silver, black nude, I don't really care. They are wearing long dresses so it wont be a huge thing

Nobody will notice their shoes. Have them pick something comfortable because fidgety/uncomfortable bridesmaids are far more noticeable.
