Bridesmaids

Your bridesmaids should be the people closest to you. If you don't have any very close friends or family who you want to stand up there with you on the wedding day, you can always skip having a bridal party.

They’re your best friends and closest people who are supportive of you and your relationship. Don’t pick random people or relatives just to please other people.

Your bridesmaids are people in your life whom you feel a close connection with. People who you couldn't imagine not having at the wedding by your side in support. Bridesmaids don't have to be women or even friends. You can have relatives, your mother, cousin, brother. Or you can skip the bridesmaids all together. And no you don't need to have even sides with the person you are marrying. They could have 6 groomsmen and you could have 1 bridesmaids/MOH.

View Quoted Comment Also to add I'm just like you, I don't really hang out with anyone other than my fiancé. So my bridesmaids are my mom as my MOH, then my niece, sister in law, and my 2 brothers girlfriends. They are all really close to me.

Your bridal party should be those closest to you that you can't imagine not having standing by your side. For our wedding, my bridesmaids/bride's man included my sister, my brother, my brother's wife, ky husband's sister and one of my friends. While some people might have thought it was odd that I had a man on my side, I couldn't imagine not having my brother be a part of my special day so don't let gender dictate who stands by you if you have a guy you want by your side. My husband also had a female on his side.

View Quoted Comment Just having the sisters will be very nice. And don't let anyone guilt you into having them in the wedding. Having the wrong people by your side can cause so much unnecessary stress.
