Bridesmaids

I have only 3 bridesmaids, and I'm quite fine with that. One is my middle sister, and the other two are my future sisters in law!

I am having 5, each one of my ladies has played an important part of my life and I couldn't imagine the day without them by my side. But I just went to my best friends wedding and she only had one and it felt so perfect for their day. So I really think it's up to you. Who you want by your side and what you envision for that day.

My FH and I are having 3 each but you can have as many as you feel like. If you already know your sister would be a problem, dont invite her. Do you know how many will be on your FH's side and how big are you planning for your wedding to be? (guest count). You might not need more than your one but if you do, is there anyone reliable that is local? They don't have to be super close friends as long as they are reliable. One of my bridesmaids and I aren't really close but I had an open slot and she was excited to accept.

Hi I'm the same really no friends myself so I have 5, first cousin maid of honor, 1st cousin Bridesmaid, another cousin, then 2 friends. 😊

I have 5 bridesmaids (counting my one maid of honor)

I have 5. One is my fiancé’s brother’s girlfriend, one is his step sister, and the other three are friends of mine (my best friend is the maid of honor). Well, I consider all of them my friends. I don’t have any sisters or close family.

I have 2, which includes my maid of honor.

I have 14! I know that sounds crazy but I have 6 girl family members that HAVE to be in it. And the other 8 are my close friends whose weddings I have been in.

However, when it came to my maid of honor, I was in a similar situation, my mom would have liked for it to be cousin, my fiancé would have liked it be my best friend, so I picked my daughter. She is only 5, but she is who I want right next to me to share in that moment. She has been awesome. And I couldn’t be happier with my pick, since it’s what I wanted and no one else.

You don’t need any bridesmaids at all not even a maid of honor. You can have as many as you want or none at all. Just ask your best friend to be your MOH and that’s all.

I have a lot but then I'm one of 13 kids. I've seen weddings where they only have a MOH and BM. that's 1 on each side. There is no right or wrong you have as many or as few it's about who you want to be there for you.

It is completely up to you. I have my BFF as my Maid of Honor. Then I have 4 Bridesmaids. 2 are my sisters and 2 great friends. I can understand what you mean as for your sister. You never know what will happen later and don't want your special day to turn around or to be stressed. You got this.
