Bridesmaids....

Bridesmaids are not a requirement. You can either skip them altogether or have your daughters be your bridesmaids.

I have a few friends but they live farther away. It would have been a hassle to have them come all the way down for bridesmaids stuff so I skipped having bridesmaids

Yes, to this. A certain number (or any!) of bridesmaids is not required, so it's not a role you need to try to fill or worry about not having. It's the opposite really: if you do have people in your life you want to honor, then you ask them to be bridesmaids.

I very happily had no wedding attendants, for the record.

I would just skip the wedding party. It's also fine to have your kids at your side!

Don’t have bridesmaids and don’t worry about it 😌 I have friends and I’ve decided not to have a bridal party for the sake of simplicity and they say not revolving around other women.

I don’t have many friends … I had 3 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor ( my sister and sister in laws were my bridesmaids and my maid of honor was my friend… my 3 daughters were flower girls … if you want make your daughters bridesmaids! It’s your day there are no set rules !! Hope everything goes well for you ☺️
