A nice card or conversation over an individual coffee date is more than plenty.

If you feel you must give them, the challenge is go for something low budget they will actually keep. Go simple with their favorite candy/snack food or a beauty item (only works if all are girly). Be aware of shipping charges if anyone is out of the area

Skip them. Do something memorable if you like, but not a gift. I really hate tha trend to add gift after gift over the last 15 years, none needed, so brides end up buying 25 or more, spending a lot, and not having funds for 1 nice gift, chosen for each individual. Look on community conversations, the thread on them. Last I saw, the greatest number think they are overrated/ overdone. You thank someone with a gift after. That is it. Meanwhile, ask them before you do anything, date and costs and all. It is super embarrassing when you get a proposal gift and they say , no. They may even say yes, when they know they cannot, and drop you later, because they feel pressure once a gift is given. Skip them, please.

For mine I did a bag with their name on it. I wote on it I can't say I do with out you! cuz I couldn't find any boxes I liked. Inside I put a necklace with a cute note to each person, a bottle of wine or sparkling juice depending if they drank or not, and a ring pop for fun! They all loved it and got excited about the ring pop lol

I did champagne glasses with their name on them, mini bottles of champagne with labels saying will you be my bridesmaid, champagne flavored gummies from sugarfina, and bath soaps in the shape of flowers in our wedding colors. All in a nice box with their name on it. FH decided to just ask his groomsmen in conversation and thought proposal boxes were too girly haha.

I sent customized puzzles to each of my bridesmaids that asked them to be a bridesmaid. I didn't want to do large proposal boxes since I was concerned that it might make them feel obligated to say yes, and figured the puzzle was something fun, low-cost, and not pressuring. I think the proposal boxes are really a "know your crowd" thing - if you're absolutely certain that they'll say yes, go for it! Otherwise, maybe ask them in person first, and give them the boxes afterwards if they say yes. If you choose to do the boxes, you could include a bottle of their favorite wine, or a mini champagne bottle, or jewelry, or a customized puzzle, or candy (ring pops would be fun and they fit the theme!), or a personalized water bottle, etc. I would probably avoid including anything that has the word "bridesmaid" or your name/wedding date on it.

My FH did custom sunglasses, soap in the shape of video game controllers, knives with their names engraved on them and socks for his men. He got such cool cards that say “suit up” on them with suspenders and a bow tie attached. His are in tan Kraft boxes with their names in black vinyl letters. All of his groomsmen are younger than him (he’s only turning 20 this year) so any type of alcohol thing was out of the question. I got my girls shawls, chapstick, candles in the shape of succulents, little paper hearts that can be planted to grow flowers, hand lotion, a pen, and a card with our wedding date on it. I put them in white boxes wrapped in green ribbon and got vinyls with their names and also “will you be my bridesmaid” vinyls. It was easier and cheaper to buy everything separately and put it all together but they sell super cute boxes already made on Etsy if you look for both men and women.

I made little custom proposal boxes (can be a little pricier depending on what you want to put in them) but I decided on a wine glass with their name, their favorite bottle of wine with a custom wine label & custom candle scents I knew they’d like! And I tried to pick it all in their favorite color so they’d be more likely to use it than the typical rose gold, dusty pink, or champagne proposal boxes that you buy from a retailer! I would just think about what your bridesmaids like and try to tailor it to them so they’ll actually use what you buy them (they also don’t have to all have the same thing either if they all have different tastes!)Bridesmaids/groomsmen Proposal Gift Ideas! 1

As for groomsmen, Pinterest has a lot of cute ideas but my FH just decided to do a card (he thought most of the groomsmen proposals were too cheesy 😂)

I did a little bag with a hand-painted wine glass (it looks like the bridesmaids dress), a lavender face mask, and a bag of chocolates! Something simple but a nice keepsake.
