Hi ladies,

Would it be weird if my older brother stood on my side as a bridesman?? My father was not around too much as i was younger so i always told my brother he would walk me down the aisle. But now, things are different my dad is in my life and he will be walking me. My brother has always been a huge part in my life and i want him to be involved as much as possible.

Hase anyone witnessed a brother as a bridesman??

    We had both a bride's man and groomswoman. My younger brother was my bride's man and my husband's female best friend was his groomswoman.

    I'm having two! We picked their suits first and then chose a bridesmaid's dress to match because it seemed easier than doing it the other way.

    It was a blast! He was there for the bridal shower, Bachelorette, and made an amazing speech! His wife was another bridesmaid and 2 of my 3 best friends (one was deployed). We all got along so well. No friction. Reading a lot of posts I realize how blessed I am with my friends and family. Totally go for it.

    I’m having a bridesman! My best friend! He is wearing the same suit as the groomsmen, but his tie and such is matching the bridesmaid dresses😊

    Not weird at all...I had 3 bridesmaids and 3 bridesmen- all 3 of my brothers who I am very close with! I don’t have photos yet but I received a lot of compliments for having them stand on my side!

    Also having a bridesman! He’s way closer with me then my fiancé not that they don’t like each other, but it just made more sense for him to be on my side and he’s friends with most of the bridal party anyways
