Bringing FH to a wedding expo?

FH came with me to a indiewed. It didn't seem weird since we were trying to meet photographers. There were a lot of couples there

I mean...it's his wedding too, so why shouldn't he go?

My FH went to bridalrama with me.

I think if he wants to participate in the planning process, it would be better to bring him.

Why would it be weird? You two are the ones making decisions so it's logical you go together. I go to all expos with my FH. If I need to look at dresses he wanders off while I do so

I didn't. But I saw a fair number of guys at the wedding show I went to. This might be a good opportunity for you to get him more involved in the wedding

Thanks ladies! I've never been to anything like this and I tend to overthink everything so this is reassuring. I know there is a wedding gown fashion show so I wasn't sure any brides would bring FH or not!

I'm going to a wedding expo tomorrow too! My FH went with me to a smaller one, he didn't love it... but if your FH is interested it definitely wouldn't be weird! I'm going with my mom tomorrow too

He should absolutely come if he wants to! Not weird at all. I guess it depends on your dynamic, but if he is interested in wedding planning he should definitely go, after all it's his wedding as much as yours, lol. The more involved he is the more you can lean on each other when planning gets stressful. I would say my FH and I have both been equally involved in planning. Absolutely nothing weird about it, there will be plenty of men there. I've actually seen a few posts on here from people getting frustrated about planning everything without their partner, so if he wants to be involved in planning I see no downsides. How could that possibly weird? It's his wedding. Of course he should go.

FH didn't go with me but I wish he would have. He admitted later that he wished he would have gone because he didn't get to talk to as many vendors. He mostly got to talk to the ones that I found at the expos.

You all are making joint decisions, so he should be there to help make the decisions. You don't want to have to keep calling or texting to get his opinion every few stalls

My FH loved them. She's sad that we are done with them. But he also just liked the food so......

FH and I went to one at our venue the other day and had a blast! It was nice to have him there to talk to people and see things first hand.

The venue also did a nice job of hosting so that helped.

I did to one.. but was not impressed . . And I only went to see the venue my fmil wanted to see .. it was terrible btw lmao

I brought FH, maid of honor, man of honor and best man. FH and best man loved all the food samples!

I brought my mom. I'm glad I did. FH gets way too overwhelmed with my filtered options I could only imagine how he'd do being drowned in options.
