Brooch Bouquet Size?

I bought mine in bulk (20 pieces) from etsy, and the size ranged from 1.5 to 2.5 inches, I showed my bouquet here last week, and the ladies said the bling is enough. But I'm redoing mine, I want some purple roses on my bouquet, it looks blah to me, but I agree it is blinged up!

Jennifer have you picked your dress yet? What is it like?

Nine inches seems big to me, regardless of what your dress is like, but if you have a blinded-out ball gown, you can probably keep the bouquet pretty large. A more simple gown would probably be better complemented with a smaller bouquet.

Will you have bridesmaids? If yes, how big will their bouquets be? Make sure yours is bigger, even if they are carrying just flowers!

As a general guide, try to stick with having your bouquet 1/3 the size of your waist.

Larger gowns will look better balanced with fuller bouquets while slim waisted gowns can opt for a smaller size.

You don't want it too big or too small when you are holding it.

Hayley, when you say size of waist -- are you measuring around? Like a 10" bouquet for a 30" waist? Or are you just figuring 1/3 of the front of you?

My waist is 35" ... Idk I just think a 9" will be to much..

I only have 2 bridesmaids & not sure what size theres will be. smaller than mine of course lol.
