Brooch bouquet, yay or nay?

I am wanting to order a brooch bouquet and found one on etsy I fell in love with, but when I showed it to one of my bridesmaids she said she feels it would take away from my dress. Opinions please??

A friend of mine did one. Her bridal shower was a "build the bouquet" shower. Everyone brought her a brooch/pin; Most were old and had a story behind it and some were newly bought.

I mean this in a positive way, but I don't think there's much that would take away from that dress. That's a lot of dress lol. I wouldn't think twice about doing a brooch bouquet with it(probably because I'm having one also).

I think a floral bouquet would look better overall and be more timeless.

Ok, nothing can take away from your dress! Hahah it's gorgeous and HUGE!
the brooch bouquet is pretty small too so I think it is like the perfect amount of bling!
I LOVE IT !
