I love fairy tales and want the fairy tale wedding and all that it implies, but I don't want the Disney fairytale scheme. I want more Brothers Grimm - you know, kind of dark, not as many bright colors. My colors are black and lavender and I'm using more grapevine than floral decorations with a few tea light candles. My cake backdrop is going to be grapevine with Christmas lights throughout and a few grapevines throughout the food tables. We're also thinking about putting small bare trees/branches in plaster of paris (kind of like what Laura L. was wanting to do) and in big potters. Then spray paint the trees/branches white with white Christmas lights. Is there anything else I could do to realize this theme? Anything for the guest tables? Cause all that was going to be done there was a candle with some rose petals. Oh, and butterflies are also involved in this theme. I'm just not a big flower person.
