Bruises be gone!

Shelby, on August 17, 2017 at 1:44 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 14

Question: anyone have any good advice to make bruises appear less brutal. I bruise easily (just from scratching my leg) and now I have giant bruises all over my legs that I don't really want being visible as I'm getting ready for the wedding. My dress covers them but I was hoping to wear shorts under my robe to get ready. Thanks in advance!!

You could try concealer. It may not cover them completely but it might help them be a little less noticeable. Or a tanning spray or something like that

I was hoping a spray tan would hide any I got before the wedding...

Pineapple juice. Drink lots. It's not a miracle worker, but something in it helps fade bruising. My dermatologist taught me that years ago.

Taking Arnica internally really helps them heal quickly (although I don't know if it will help in only two days).

Try getting a color correcting shade like peach and covering the bruise, then apply concealer. If it works for under circles it might work for bruises.

If all else fails, ask your photographer to edit them out.

    Arnica.

Also, try eating more iron rich food.

Put a cold spoon on them and rub! I bruise like a peach too. It helps spread the blood out

Well, considering you only have two days I dont think my advice will help.

But busing can be from a vitamin K, C, or Zinc deficiency

I totally understand why people are suggesting concealer but all I can picture is getting makeup all over your dress when you get dressed! I wouldn't worry too much about the bruises in all honestly, they won't be showing in the most important pictures Smiley smile

As others have said...Arnica works wonders for bruises. But if you do feel you need to cover them...there is a make-up called Covermark that will cover very serious skin issues like port wine stain, scars, bruises, and other skin discolorations.

I have ITP which is a blood disorder. I use Procure Bruise Remedy. And Cover FX makeup.
