Brunch reception: Candles or no candles?

Will small votive candles along with floral centerpieces work for a brunch wedding reception, or will this just be a waste of money since it will be daylight? Has anyone done this for a daytime reception?

    Personally I don't think they will be noticed. I would save the money or put it towards the flowers and accents in centerpieces.
