Bubble Exit

AJ, on July 16, 2018 at 7:08 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 8
My FH really wants a bubble exit from our ceremony. We would have done it outside the little chapel, but we are having a receiving line right outside the doors and will therefore be the first ones out there. We've decided we will have it as we walk back up the aisle. Should EVERY seat get bubbles, or just like the two seats closest to the aisle in each row? They'll have little notes attached about when to use them, so if we do the second option and someone doesn't want to blow bubbles they can potentially change seats...

I would just give everyone bubbles and if someone doesn't want to do them, they won't. I wouldn't change seats

But is it worth it to give everyone bubbles when only the ones closest to the aisle will have any affect on the look for photos? Like those off in the corners or by the windows, their bubbles wouldn't even make it to us. But it could still add to the over all effect in the room for guests maybe.

I would give them to everyone. Even if their bubbles don’t reach you, it will be nice for your guests if everyone is included for that part.

I’d give them to everyone - but please be aware that bubble mixture can mark and stain fabric - you may not want to see that on your wedding dress and guests probably won’t want to have their outfits marked either.

So we are actually doing this exact same thing! We don’t have a real exit either so this is our true exit! We will be giving everyone bubbles, they’re not that expensive and it would be very strange to me if I was like three or four seats in and I didn’t get bubbles, even though they won’t necessarily be in the photos bubbles do float so it’ll help create more bubbles faster, plus everyone will get to join in! I say get everyone bubbles and then you also don’t have to take the time to print the instructions for the first two seats! You can have your officiant just say something along the lines of as the bride and groom exit please blow the bubbles that were at your seat...

    hope this helps!

If you’re set on the bubble exit I might have a cheap bubble machine on hand too, just in case the guests get a little lazy. Lol I think you can get them at Walmart pretty cheap (maybe for sale at the end of the summer)

We did the same thing at the end of the ceremony. We had bubble guns and regular bubbles that you blow. We only had about 6 bubble guns for those closest to the aisle, but enough bubbles for everyone to have some. We chose to do the guns because we only had 22 guests and I was worried there wouldn't be enough bubble for the photos. They ended up being a huge hit!
