Bucket list!

I'm making a "bucket list" bucket. What do you all think? I still need to letter the chalkboard (the scariest part of every project). It will say "A Bucket List for the bride and groom...please leave an idea, a plan, an adventure for us to enjoy during our lives together" or something to that effect. Found these cute fabric pictures in the scrapbooking section of Michaels, along with little cards.

    I know this is just me, but 'bucket list' makes me think about people who are ancient like me. Couldn't you call it something else? I like the bucket.....

    @celia hehe. I guess we could leave off the words bucket list...and just say the "leave an adventure" part? We're in our 30's, but yeah, I forgot that the whole concept of a bucket list is that we're gonna kick the bucket eventually lol

    @Mrs sitzman that's a cute idea! I'm thinking that the sign will just say "Leave a note with an idea, a plan, an adventure for us to enjoy together" but I could change "idea" to "date idea"! Glad I checked here before I made the board haha

    I don't necessarily associate having a bucket list with someone who's about to die... I'm in my late 20's and I have a bucket list. I know the movie was about a couple older guys doing adventurous stuff before they die, but I see it more as "once in a lifetime things to do/accomplish or milestones to reach". Maybe I'm weird though...

    I think that's a great idea! You could even have more fun with it in the future if you made your own photobook every year with a snap of the original card and then a picture or two of you two in the moment.

    I think the 'bucket list' is a great idea! I'm not sure how compelled you might feel to take on every suggestion, but it would be cool for you and your FH to sit down after the honeymoon and go through them together, using the suggestions as references to customize a bucket list. Very cute!

    A bucket list is a lost you compose of things you want to do before you die. I'm not sure I would want that at my wedding. Maybe you could do advice for the bride and groom?
